Holston Singer is Among the Best 03-17-2015

A teenage female student is standing in front of a wall at the completion of a choral competition.Ashelyn W., a junior at Holston High School, was recently selected for the 2015 Virginia All-State Chorus. Competitive auditions were held on Friday, February 13 at Union High School in Big Stone Gap. She is in elite company, as only 24 students we selected from each district.

Dr. Yost Reads for Abingdon Elementary Pre-School 03-16-2015

Dr. Yost helped them see how magical reading can be because sometimes you learn things, sometimes reading is just fun, and sometimes it’s both!

High Point First Grade Celebrates Gingerbread Week! 03-16-2015

The Greendale Choir Begins a New Semester 03-11-2015

Holston Student Participates in County’s Budget Process 03-11-2015

Two Meadowview Elementary Students Win Gymnastics Awards 03-10-2015

MES is proud to announce the achievements of two students. Addie H. and Maisie K. both had an outstanding gymnastics meet at the Rock Star Invitational held on Sunday in Blacksburg, VA. Competing for Mountain Empire Gymnastics at the Bronze Level, Maisie scored a 38.925 All-Around, which was first place, not only in her age division, but among ALL Bronze-Level competitors! Maisie also placed first in each event including the Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor Exercise.
