John S. Battle FBLA State Conference

John S. Battle had a very successful appearance at the FBLA State Conference April 6-9 in Reston, Virginia.  JSB had 14 students that qualified and competed at the state level.

Matt T. and Dylan F. placed first in Public Service Announcement on the Safety of Drones, which qualified them for the National FBLA Conference in Anaheim, California at the end of June.  Also placing was Halie R. with first place in the Sarah Lowe Thompson Virginia FBLA Foundation Scholarship competition that was worth $1,000, Hannah A., Claire M., and Timothy B. third place in Community Service Project and Claire M. fifth place in Organizational Leadership.
