Patrick Henry Students Experience Total Solar Eclipse at Clemson University
Post date:
Tue, August 29, 2017
For many people, a total solar eclipse is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so students at Patrick Henry High School jumped at the opportunity to travel to Clemson University, which was in the path of totality.
While on campus, the students took a tour of the campus, ate at a dining hall, and, oh yeah, saw a total eclipse of the sun! Clemson University reports that fifty-thousand people visited the campus to witness the natural phenomenon that hasn’t happened in the United States for 99 years; a coast-to-coast total solar eclipse.
