Welcome from Superintendent
Welcome to Washington County Public Schools! We are honored to live and work in such wonderful school communities. Our students continue to demonstrate incredible academic, artistic, technological, athletic, service and leadership capacities. We commend students, educators, parents and community members for their considerable efforts in all our schools. While we continue to enjoy overall success, we will work even more diligently to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes. We rely on the strength of our community as a whole, and we will continue to seek ways to work collaboratively in all aspects of school life.
High expectations, strong relationships and appropriate academic rigor are essential aspects to be considered in providing the best possible education and school life experiences for every student. It is my enduring belief and expectation that we continue the outstanding endeavors that have been enacted in all our schools, but we will also reach even greater levels of opportunity and achievement.
We are fortunate in Washington County to have a community that supports public education, and school board leaders, community leaders and professional colleagues who are obviously devoted to professionalism, distinction and our mission of being “Committed to the Success of Every Student.”
I am delighted to serve in the role of superintendent, and I look forward to knowing you and working alongside you. Please take full advantage of opportunities to support our students (our future) and be engaged in the school community. By working together, everyone in Washington County has a role in making a positive difference in the lives of students and families.
